The day after the Convention , SELRAP organised two trackbed walks, one from Colne, one from Thornton-in-Craven and both heading for Café Cargo at Foulridge Wharf. Here walkers gathered on Colne Station, the end of the current line, ready to set off

Despite rain, snow, low temperatures and wind 17 intrepid cyclists set off from London to the Atomic Weapons Research Estabishment at Aldermaston in Berkshire. Taking three days we had lots of fun & games on the way.
We left on the Saturday arriving early on the Monday for the Hands Around the Base Demonstration.
