Todmorden, Lancashire or is it Yorkshire? It seems a confused town with both a Lancashire postal address and membership of Lancashire Cricket League, an Oldham postcode, a Rochdale telephone area code but is in the West Yorkshire local authority of Calderdale.
What I do know is I was very impressed on first coming north to see washing hanging across the street in Hebden Bridge and in Todmorden in 2008 I saw that this wonderful tradition lives on.

CAAT (the Campaign Against the Arms Trade) decided to be there too.

I've been on a several Critical Mass bike rides to the Arms Fair at Excel in London Docklands, but this is the first of the regular monthly ones I've been on.
Here, halfway through the ride, hundreds of cyclists are having a break in Smithfields Market

September 5th 2007 Not enough cyclists turned up for a critical mass style action and since 3 protesters had cycled into the base the day before, the cyclists foxed the police with a sudden 'Nudes Against Nukes' protest at the North Gate of the Faslane Nuclear Base

The rest of the photos taken during my cycle tour of the North West Highlands of Scotland. Basically a large circle north from Inverness to Thurso and the northern coast of the mainland, west to Durness, south to Assynt and the Kyle of Lochalsh, east to the Great Glen and north back to Inverness with occasionally a little help from the train.
