As near as we could get to the Excel centre, we certainly made our feelings plain as leaders drove away in their limosines escorted by police outriders just a few yards from us. I didn't bother taking photos of the leaders, it was the demonstrators I felt important such as the young girl who'd come all the way down from Liverpool on her own because she felt it to be important to protest.
The noisiest and most colourful groups were Ethiopians protesting the genocide in their country Viewed: 348 times.
