after crossing Colne water it's uphill again, past this attractive farm, Ing Heys, with Pendle Hill in the distance *

then up again past this forbidding farmhouse

and once again I'm on a plateau, here looking south-east towards Wycollar *

looking back along this flat stretch of road

looking west at the distinctive outlines of Colne and Pendle Hill

just about to go over the edge I have a good view of our old home, Trawden Hall

down Rock Lane to the centre of Trawden

up Church Road, Trawden, in some ways the hardest hill as its the last

with a final roll downhill to our home on Hollin Hall, Boulsworth Hill in the distance
