The annual demonstration at the US listening base Menwith Hill near Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Along with Fylingdales it is a key part of Missile Defence but is also vital to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is not only a listening, intelligence facility but also a communication facility for co-ordinating America's wars of Aggression and was likened by one speaker to the sight on a rifle. Officially an RAF base, there is only one RAF liason officer on site. Make sure you have July 4th in your diary for next year and swell the protest!
