up early one morning I cycled through light rain the 5 miles down to Cheddar. When I got there the heaven's opened so I spent the next 90 minutes reading the Big Issue with morning coffee in a pub & then in a charity shop buying cassette tapes of Fleetwood Mac, the Floyd & Brink in the Wall and Suzanne Vega, what bargains for 50p.
When the rain eased I cycled back up the long hill to find it had turned into a true festival with puddles and mud.

mud & puddles. while in Cheddar I realised I'd lost my wrist band the previous night when dancing away (they'd attached it really loosely) so I cycled back onto the site very slowly past all the checkers and security looking very wobbily coping with the mud and the puddles and managed to sneak past without being accosted.
