A selection from the two albums I have at home.
Those postcards with cartoons on have already
found their way to the album 'My Favourite Cartoons'
I got this Victorian postcard of Vesuvius erupting in 1872 from a second-hand bookshop in Colne. Alas now gone it had a wonderful selection for 10 or 20p each. Click on it for it's full effect and to practice your French translation.

This old German postcard bears closer inpection. It feels like this Hamburg tunnel has recently been opened and that it's the 'in' place to go for a constitutional with some going straight back in and not even bothering to see what's on the other side of the River Elbe.
