once again it was back to adam's farm in oxfordshire for the 2nd peace news summer camp.

but first we had to set camp up which took from tuesday to thursday.
i arrived on my bike to a totally empty field and pitched my miniscule tent - not long after others arrived.

beth arrived by bus not only with her rucksack & tent but also with the capacious shopping trolley seen here full of food, pots, pans,plates & cutlery - what a star!

much time was spent putting together poles for the children's food tent. this assortment of disparate poles and fittings, numbered but many illegibly completely did my head in.
so i'm afraid i disappeared with the wheelbarrow to collect wood to soothe my troubled mind.
in the end all agreed it was impossible as many bits were missing and luckily mil got hold of a gazebo in which gabriel (the children's star) could prepare the children's food. *
