Venus & Cupid, Morecambe Bay, is sub-titled Love, the Most Beautiful of Absolute Disasters
It was commissioned in 2000 by Lancaster Youth and Community services as a community project to create an artwork working with young women from the Ryelands and Marsh areas of Lancaster. Lancaster artist Shane Johnston turned the idea into reality.
